As a PMO, Nikki supports two offices in Kentucky. Our PMOs support their offices in a variety of ways including assisting patients, coordinating team huddles, on-boarding new team members and more! “Hi! My name is Nikki Hamilton, and I have been working as a PMO for a year and a half, but I have been with Heartland Dental or 6 years! I started my career as a dental hygienist, fresh out of school. I chose Heartland Dental because of the benefits they offered and that the position was full time. After practicing dental hygiene for about 4 years, I was ready for a change. I had worked with some fantastic Practice Managers, and I knew that it would be a role that I enjoyed and excelled at. Heartland Dental gave me the opportunity for advancement in management that I wouldn’t have had otherwise. I became a Practice Manager in March 2017, and I have been in that role since. I currently have two offices--Audubon Dental & Implant Center and Associated Family Dental Care. I have the privilege of working with 22 team members and 5 doctors. I would say my day-to-day consists of juggling people and paperwork. If I had any advice to give someone looking to join Heartland Dental, it would be to keep an open mind. One thing that is constant is change; and if they can trust that the change is in the best interest of the supported doctors, team members, and the company, they will reap the benefits. Heartland Dental will grow you if you can deal with a little growing pain. More than anything, Heartland Dental has given me more tools for bettering myself not only as a leader but as a person. A few fun facts about me: - I played soccer for 20 consecutive years, and still play occasionally. - Garth Brooks is my favorite! - I love to read and write. - I have a 3-year-old daughter named, Hadley. - My favorite food is sushi! “   [![View Career Opportunities](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/1769253/96c4b4c9-f9aa-47bb-afa4-d1a8461c405e.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/1769253/96c4b4c9-f9aa-47bb-afa4-d1a8461c405e)   Tags: [Dental Support Organization](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/dental-support-organization), [Careers In the Dental Industry](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/careers-in-the-dental-industry), [Heartland Dental](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/heartland-dental) ### Related Articles ## [Heartland Dental Monthly Growth Spotlight – June 2026](https://blog.heartland.com/heartland-dental-monthly-growth-spotlight-june-2026) *( read )* Topics: [Dental Support Organization](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/dental-support-organization), [Careers In the Dental Industry](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/careers-in-the-dental-industry), [Heartland Dental](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/heartland-dental) ## [Celebrating 5 Years of Stronger Dental Together with American Dental Partners](https://blog.heartland.com/celebrating-5-years-of-stronger-dental-together-with-american-dental-partners) *( read )* Topics: [Dental Support Organization](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/dental-support-organization), [Careers In the Dental Industry](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/careers-in-the-dental-industry), [Heartland Dental](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/heartland-dental) ## [Heartland Dental Named to Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care 2026 For Second Consecutive Year](https://blog.heartland.com/heartland-dental-named-to-newsweeks-americas-greatest-workplaces-in-health-care-2026-for-second-consecutive-year) *( read )* Topics: [Dental Support Organization](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/dental-support-organization), [Careers In the Dental Industry](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/careers-in-the-dental-industry), [Heartland Dental](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/heartland-dental) ### Subscribe to The Chronicles of Marketing Newsletter - [Heartland Dental Blog](https://blog.heartland.com) - Articles by Topic - [Dental Practice Ownership](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/dental-practice-ownership) - [Careers in the Dental Industry](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/careers-in-the-dental-industry) - [Industry Insights](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/industry-insights) - [In the News](https://blog.heartland.com/topic/in-the-news) - [Career Opportunities](https://jobs.heartland.com/careers-home/) - [Practice Management & Transition](https://heartland.com/affiliations/?_ga=2.26866429.1519429506.1623942221-1998440239.1613661303) - - - - - - © 2021 Heartland Dental All Rights Reserved - [(866) 929-0040](tel:8586331915) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "Heartland Dental", "url" : "https://blog.heartland.com/author/heartland-dental" }, "dateModified" : "2019-02-13T14:46:04.820Z", "datePublished" : "2018-11-01T16:30:00.000Z", "headline" : "Employee Spotlight: Practice Manager of Operations", "image" : [ "https://blog.heartland.com/hubfs/Untitled%20design.png" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://blog.heartland.com/employee-spotlight-practice-manager-of-operations", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://blog.heartland.com/hubfs/Primary_Logo_RGB.png" }, "name" : "Heartland Dental" } } ```
