At the end of 2017, we conducted a company-wide employee engagement survey that reached our network of over 1,300 supported doctors, over 10,000 team members and nearly 600 Home Office employees. The purpose of this survey was to find out how we can better support our team members by identifying where they thought Heartland Dental excelled as well as other areas of opportunities. We used this survey to give our team members a voice and encouraged them to speak their thoughts freely – the good and the bad.
This feedback was extremely beneficial to us, and we were excited to see that Heartland Dental outperformed the benchmarks we set for most categories. We compared our results with CEB’s US High Performing benchmark using the three pillars of engagement, alignment and agility to see where our employees thought we stood.
