Dr. Rick Workman and Patrick Bauer to Speak at 2019 ADSO Summit

By Heartland Dental

Dr. Rick Workman, Heartland Dental Founder and Executive Chairman; and Patrick Bauer, Heartland Dental CEO and President, will both attend and present at this year’s 2019 ADSO Summit. The event, held from March 28-30 in San Diego, will house leaders from dental support organizations (DSOs) and other dental professionals from around the country together to discuss advocacy trends, compliance best practices and the latest developments in the DSO industry.

Dr. Workman will present alongside Brant Herman, CEO of Mouthwatch, to discuss the future trend of teledentistry. Patrick Bauer will take part in a leadership panel to discuss how organizations can best develop a C-Suite leadership team. This panel will also include Bob Fantana, CEO and President of Aspen Dental Management; Steve Thorne, CEO and President of Pacific Dental Services; and Alistair Madle, CEO of D4C Dental Brands.

“It’s exciting to see how much the ADSO has grown over the past few years. ADSO member groups now support over 10,000 dentists,” said Dr. Workman. “I’m honored to once again be involved with this event and share my experiences with leaders seeking to further develop themselves and their companies.”

Additional presenters this year include Eric Wahl, internationally-recognized artist, TED speaker and bestselling author; Marko Vujicic, Chief Economist and Vice President of the Health Policy Institute at the American Dental Association; and many other dental and business leaders.

“For all DSOs, our collaborative opportunities are huge. As the dentistry profession continues to change, DSOs need to work hard, smart and together. That is how the greatest organizations achieve great success,” added Dr. Workman. “The ADSO has become an ideal means for this collaboration. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together for DSOs moving forward, as we help advance the quality of dental care for patients and the autonomy and development opportunities for dental professionals.”
