On Friday, May 17th, Heartland Dental kicked off its 14th annual Aesthetic Continuum, the company’s premier cosmetic and aesthetic “live-patient” hands-on program for supported dentists throughout the country. The event brings both experienced, mentor dentists and new dentists together to learn and experience the process of completing ideal, state-of-the-art smile designs. This year’s Aesthetic Continuum was led by three of the most successful cosmetic dentists in the country – Dr. Craig Goldin, Dr. Marvin Berlin, and PAC Live Founder, Dr. Michael Koczarski.

First introduced in 2005, the Aesthetic Continuum is the largest cosmetic live-patient program in the country. Year to date, over 700 attending dentists have completed the program and provided over 7,000 restorations to patients. Clinical mentors use their experience and knowledge to help attendees learn the principles of cosmetic dentistry, including diagnosis and case selection, materials, preparation design, impression technique, temporization, cementation, occlusion, and photography.

“The confidence participating dentists gain through this program in their ability to successfully complete a smile design from start to finish is incredible and truly makes a difference,” said Dr. Rick Workman, Founder & Executive Chairman of Heartland Dental. “In addition, the experience of working with a mentor is invaluable to participants. Hearing other points of view helps them look at things differently and create better outcomes for their patients.”

The Aesthetic Continuum is just one great example of Heartland Dental’s commitment to helping supported dentists learn new advanced skills. Plus, it’s a win-win for everyone involved. Participating dentists further develop their skills and participating patients get the smile they’ve always wanted. We look forward to helping even more supported dentists advance their aesthetic dentistry skills at future events.
