Each year, Heartland Dental welcomes more and more young dentists to our family. These new dentists and recent graduates enter the industry with passion and enthusiasm, yet still must navigate many obstacles and challenges early on (refining their clinical skills, adopting new technology, becoming ideal leaders and communicators, the list goes on). At Heartland Dental, it’s our focus to give newly supported dentists a head start – to remove obstacles and shorten their learning curve, so they can experience success from the start. That is the purpose of Dr. LEADS (Learning Elements for Achieving Dental Success).
Dr. LEADS is a three day event for newly supported dentists that offers valuable learning experiences in a wide variety of clinical and leadership topics. Taking place from July 25th through July 27th, this year’s event carried on the tradition of our world-class education, welcoming nearly 150 incoming supported dentists over the three day course.
This year’s lineup of speakers included international speaker and author on micro-endodontics and endodontic technology, Dr. George Bruder. Attendees also learned from Dr. Mark Hodge, a nationally recognized speaker on topics including Invisalign, patient communication, and team engagement. Featured speakers also included Dr. Rick Workman, Heartland Dental’s Founder and Executive Chairman, Patrick Bauer, Heartland Dental’s President and CEO, and other Heartland Dental leaders. The event offers networking and opportunities to tour and see, firsthand, goings-on at the Effingham headquarters.
Like past events, this year’s Dr. LEADS once again helped many young dentists start their Heartland Dental journey off on the right foot.
